Hello to the Texas Rangers fans who wanted another website to check for everything and anything having to do with their team.

We’ll bring you all the news, the latest rumors, opinions and columns, and we’ll take your questions or comments along the way as well.

Are you happy with the way the team was built? How big of an impact will Josh Hamilton‘s absence be on the team for the next two months? How do you fix this floundering bullpen?

We know Neftali Feliz won’t be moved out of the back end of the bullpen, especially seeing how badly guys like Mark Lowe, Darren Oliver and Darren O’Day have struggled. Without him, the losses may continue to pile up.

On the other hand, can Matt Harrison be any better than he’s been for this team? The young left hander has been nothing short of dominant through his first three starts, one of which included a great outing against the New York Yankees this past weekend.

C.J. Wilson has also been doing his job as the ace of the staff but they need to figure out if Derek Holland, Alexi Ogando and Colby Lewis will be able to pull their weight. If any of these three pitchers begin to struggle, general manager Jon Daniels will need to think quick on his feet to right the ship. Or at least put a band-aid on it to stop the bleeding.

The offense has been putting up runs. They’ve got big nights from Michael Young, Nelson Cruz, Ian Kinsler and Adrian Beltre, but their lineup, as a whole, needs to stay consistent. It was the key to their success last season, and it needs to stay that way in order for this team to stay ahead of the Los Angeles Angels and Oakland A’s; neither of whom are going to give in very easily.

There are going to be a lot of opinions and a lot of moves being made before this season is over. We’re just getting started so I hope you’ll continue to stop by and be a part of the discussion as we follow the defending American League Champions through the 2011 season.

Welcome to Scooping the Texas Rangers.
